American Dad Season 1
The first season of the series American Dad premiered on 6th February 2005. In the pilot episode, Stan helps Steve fix the school election to become the student body president to impress Lisa. Stan is angry about his wife making more money than him. He cuts off Hayley financially when she moves in with her boyfriend. Steve tries uses Roger to gain the sympathy of a girl he wants to take to school dance. Stan forgets his anniversary and tries to erase Francine’s memory of last 20 hours who loses her memory of the last 20 years and becomes the teenager of 1985. Roger is taken for dead when he is in comma and his body is disposed off in a landfill where he wakes up and tries to go home but is followed by CIA. Stan suspects his Iranian neighbors to be terrorists and forces Steve to join a group of scouts. He beats Chuck White to become the new deacon of their church. Roger accidentally impregnates Steve during his reproduction cycle. Stan is worried about his boss, Bullock’s relationship with Hayley. While giving sex education to Steve Stan ends up becoming masturbation addict. Stan disowns Steve, but soon needs his help in catching a cyber-terrorist. On his father’s death, Stan tells his family that he is actually the son of a highly skilled spy. When he fails, to organize a party for Bullock, Stan is relocated to Saudi Arabia, where his family has difficulty adapting the Arabian culture. Although Stan enjoys the male dominated culture, the Smiths are forced to return to America after being sentenced to death by the locals. Hayley accidentally shoots and paralyzes Stan while arguing with him. Steve, who becomes a famous writer, leaves his family when they try to exploit his celebrity status for personal interests.
Francine lies to Stan to join an organization of well off women. Stan and Roger change roles for a day, with Roger becoming a car salesman and Stan staying home for the whole day. Stan puts back Klaus’ brain in a human being who kidnaps him and tries to charm Francine. Stan’s pride is hurt when he tries to show off that he married a homecoming queen Francine, but learns that it was not true. Roger and Steve become close buddies at a bachelor party in Atlantic City and take their friendship to new heights. Steve grows breasts due to the side effects of the steroids given to him by Stan make him look bigger and better. Stan replaces Steve with his mean friend Barry to learn his job, while Roger becomes a brother of the fraternity. In the final episode of the season, Stan is smitten by George Clooney destroying Francine’s plan to first win and then break the heart of Clooney.

This was the season’s 22nd episode and was aired on 7th May 2006. In this episode, Stan is disappointed by Steve’s lack of interest in his job. He therefore, replaces Steve with his mean friend, Barry. However Barry sets Steve up to get him thrown out of the household. When Steve learns about Barry’s weakness, he trusts his CIA skills to save his family. Meanwhile, Roger makes a remarkable appearance at the keg-stand and is made a brother of the fraternity.
