Show Summary
American Dad! Seasons are Animated Comedy satires Created by Seth MacFarlane, Mike Barker and Matt Weitzman. Production companies Fuzzy Door Productions and Underdog Productions produced the show in association with 20th Century Fox Television. It was Originally Broadcasted on FOX channel in 480i (SDTV) Picture format since its premier but now has shifted to
720p (HDTV). Its pilot episode was aired on 6th February, 2005 and regular American Dad! Season 1 was premiered on 1st May, 2005. The show centers on Stan Smith, CIA agent and his family.
Show’s main characters include Smith Family, Smith Relatives, C.I.A., News readers, the Corbin- Bates household, Pearl Bailey High school and the neighborhood. Smith’s family consists of Stan Smith, Francine Smith, Hayley Smith, Steve Smith, Klaus Heissler and Roger. Like other shows, everyday this show starts with a new topic without having any impact of the last episodes. Daily Stan Smith sings “Good Morning, U.S.A.” after waking up and have breakfast with his family members. He carries news paper from front door and drives to his CIA office. In office he reads the newspaper’s front page headline which becomes the topic of the episode. Generally the topics are satire on media, current affairs or U.S. Government. This starting sequence was changed in American Dad! Season 4 and now Roger, next to Stan in the family’s SUV has replaced Stan in some of these aspects.
