Hey friends! So now that American Dad is to remain on air till at least 2012, I am not worried about the renewal of the series. So I just went through my list of favorite characters in the series and today I am here to share with you as to whom I love most on the show. Well, since I love the show, I definitely like all the characters; however my most favorite character in the series is Roger. I really feel sorry for the alien rescued by Stan from Area 51 only to be imprisoned inside the Smith household (although he does not remain inside the house for long). His loneliness is another thing that endears him to me. He is really a good guy and is in need of some really good company. I think the writers need to think about this and maybe they should introduce a character to share his loneliness.

His fantasies are really bizarre and it’s not right for him to be fantasizing all the time. He has a wonderful art of disguising himself when he wants to go out of the house and though he is 1600 years old, he does not look that old. But then maybe being an alien, he comes from a place where people live for thousands of years. But anyways I simply adore Roger and sometimes I really feel like having him for myself. Come to think of it, it would be really fun to have an alien friend and that too friends like Roger. Also when he goes into disguise by cross-dressing, speaking effeminately etc. makes me roll on the floor with laughter.

However, there are some things that I really don’t like about Roger. These include his irritating habits of drinking, smoking and endlessly watching television. Although no one is quite sure about his sexuality, but still it would look better if he looked, acted and dressed more like a man. But anyways, even if he continues to be like that, I will always like him and love him. For me he has been and will always be the funniest and most adorable character on American Dad.
